Should students at under-performing schools get vouchers for private schools?

Tyler — Last week, in Austin, a hearing on school choice was raised. The question--- should  students at underperforming schools be able to obtain vouchers to attend private schools.

Anything that helps minorities rise out of poverty will always be demonized or corrupted for fear it will succeed.

Vouchers are just another way for Republicans to undermine public schools. The Republicans/tea party types won't stop their assault on the public school system until everyone attends Christian fundie charter schools.
