People amaze me do they really think that criminals are going to obey the law? It takes less than 7 seconds to load a second 10 round clip in a gun how is this going to solve anything. We have so many laws now that we can not place a mentally unstable person in a instution this is were they belong so as to get treatment..Very few solid family structures exist in todays world sad but true.

Now that the president has outlined sensible gun issues going forward, I am scared to pieces about the volatility that has been festering in Texas, and especially in East Texas. People like deaf smith, charles, and others who post the most hideous words of revolt have guns and, most likely, in their hightened hysteria and hatred for this president, could mount such a revolt in which many could be killed. With their rhetoric being shared by many, I am frightened for my own safety. Gun nation?

Only magazines with a capacity of more than 30 rounds.

Thought for the day; Mexico has a law against citizens owning guns and ammo. Israel requires all citizens have an assault weapon. Which country has the most violence of citizen on citizen. The difference is the moral character of the people, not the weapons. We the people are the cause and the cure.

Only 30 round magazines? What about 50? 100? Creating more laws to restrict people will do nothing. Criminals obviously will not obey them. If you really want to protect children have very tight and full background checks on staff and rid if the law banning firearms on federal land.

we do not need more laws for law abiding people,we need to enforce the existing laws against the criminals.

That was one of the executive orders signed by President Obama, instructing law enforcement to be more strict in enforcement of existing laws.
