Say and snydergal....

Uh, I don't have any connections to 'oil and gas', I sit here programming computers for a company that really really isn't involved in anything like that.

Kind of like the 'gun lobby'. I'm NRA, but I sure ain't no 'lobby'. Don't own any stock in any gun companies or suppliers. BUT I VOTE.

Your opinions don't matter to me one bit...as the ocean level rises, more and more children have worse cases of asthma, water and air pollution increase, farmers can't plant crops because summers are too hot and there is no rain, temperatures continue to increase and winters shorten to a few weeks, prices become highter for everything because things become scarce, be sure to let us know what you think of climate change. It would be so nice if you could stay on point...it's climate change, ds!!

It's Al Gore all over again. If there is some 'global warming' then GREAT! More food production.

But we all know from the fake science used for many years that we have a very difficult time believing in the 'science'.

But I wonder, why is it the ones pushing this do not themselves cut down on their energy consumption. Al Gore still has yacht, houses, private jets (thanks to Al Jazeera) and does not act like he needs to cut down.

In fact I see NOT ONE PERSON who pushes this cutting down. WHY?

It's a sure thing that those who don't believe climate change is real are those who have connections with oil and gas production...owners, oil field workers, investors, etc....these people are against alternative sources of energy because their jobs and dividends depend on it...as in Rachel Maddow's commercial for alternative sources of energy, wind and solar are free...harnessing these sources provides jobs and investment opportunities. Pollution? Those who deny couldn't care less!

It is true that we need to get away from petroleum based fuels. But I do believe we are too late. According to the documentaries, and articles I've seen, I believe we are 2 degrees above normal now, and when it gets to 3 degrees above, the global warming will go into a runaway condition, feeding on itself. I saw a documentary made in 2007 and it described the Sandra storm to tee as one of the indicators of the leading edge of the runaway condition. .. I'll research & confirm my comments.
