State wants no taxpayer dollars going to help fund abortion

A federal appeals court ruled Texas can cut off funding to affiliates of Planned Parenthood because the network of clinics provides abortions to women.

Some oppose any state government money going to support abortions. East Texans talk-back on the court's decision with our news partner KTBB and host Garth Maier.

Tx Legislators have never explained where Texas women are supposed to go to receive medical treatment now that PP is out. The idea that there are millions of providers is a myth, much like the Yeti, the Loch Ness Monster, or the Secret Rape Defense of the Legitimately Raped Female. The Tx Lege wants women to go to Crisis Pregnancy Centers, even though they are not staffed by medical personnel. This would be akin to men receiving their prostate exams by their local Assembly of God pastors.

Why did this segment show a glass of wine interspersed with pregnant bellies? I am not in favor of abortion. However, I am also not in favor of biased reporting. I will be watching a different morning news program in the future.
