Does it matter to you that Mitt Romney is Mormon?

Tyler — Baptist Preacher Robert Jeffress said Mormonism is a cult. and that Mitt Romney is not a Christian. He puts his support behind Rick Perry, whom he says is a Christian.

It does matter that Mitt Romney is a mormon, If he's inclined to a perverted version of TRUE religion, he is inclined to make mistakes of other subjects of a high magnitude.
I don't think Obama is a Muslim. Seriously? He is a Christian. The fact that Romney is a Mormon doesn't bother me, but that may be because I don't know much about the religion. Kennedy was a Catholic, and that raised some eyebrows, and every outwardly Christian candidate gets some hostility from the press, so I am not sure why Mormon candidates should get a break from scrutiny. However, I doubt it makes any difference. The President has alot of jobs; none of them have to do with religion.
There is a lot of discussion about Romney being a Mormon, a faith that at least recognizes Jesus Christ as the Savior. There has been no discussion about Joe Leiberman in public office, and he is a professed Jew that denies that Jesus Christ is the Savior. That Jesus is in fact, GOD in the flesh. What about that?

American allows me to voice my opinion as you can voice yours. You views sound more like the Hitler years saying I am wrong to voice my opinions. Yes I am american and I can complain just like you can and I am discusted with that crap in office as you were with Bush I am sure. They all are common criminals that dont care if you live or die. we need to fire all of them and start from scratch.
Not really, I think that he would not use it in running the nation, Not like that crap we have in office now. Could be Rick Perry and that is a scarry thought. He cant be trusted!

It does not matter to me that Mitt Romney is a Mormon. It probably makes me more likely to vote for him because I know of the strong moral values that Mormons teach. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or as people refer to as the Mormon Church. I grew up in another Christian church but joined the LDS church approx. 20 years ago. I know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and am definately a Christian. I do not belong to a cult.
