One prerequisite: children of illegals enlist in military service.

Would East Texans give the okay for children of illegals to gain citizenship if they serve?

Here's a deal, we give you citizenship with the stipulation you loose it the minute you sign up for any federal Liberal progressive giveaway program. We need to create more conservatives as we have imported enough of the other kind to destroy the nation for the next 50 years.

This legislation would have completely undermined any attempt at controlling our borders and controlling immigration.

Rollinson, get your facts straight. You may bring arguments forward againsr the Dream Act but chain immigration is not one of them. First, family based immigration is limited to immediate family. No uncle, aunt or cousin of a US citizen has any claim to immigration. Only ones qualify are (adopted) children, parents and siblings. The parents are not eligible as illegals. You are absolutely correct rollinson. Our government is stuffed with lawmakers who spend their time dreaming-up schemes to get re-elected rather than doing the business of our country. Both parties, but democrats in particular have learned that entitlements buy votes, and what better way to issue entitlements then to those hoping to jump on the back of the American taxpayer.
