Two dozen Dallas city workers reprimanded for being on facebook while on the clock.

The city of Dallas reprimanded 2 dozen employees and gave them couciling for being on-line with the personal facebook pages while on the job.

East Texans tell our radio partner: KTBB and host Garth Maier what they'd do if they were the boss and caught employees in the middle of social networking on company time.

Facebook................we don't get paid to get on any social network. That is absurd in that people would even think of such. Go to work and do your job. Some of this new technology has really gotten out of hand and the cell phone is another. Can't leave their cell phones alone for a minute, continually texting, or getting on the Apps that are now so prominent. This is addictive/cell phone junkies, is what I call them.

Failed to comment on the Firing Offense. #1, companies need to lay out job rules and if they are abused, time to reprimand the behavior. Or, companies can block such sites. Go to the local library and you can not access Facebook, or for that matter, I would think, any social website.
