Fatherless generation?

Tyler — A new report from the Washington Post shows a growing number of children are being raised in a "fatherless" environment.
Government statistics show, that same group of children are more likely to spend time in a detention center and even serve prison time later on in life.

This has nothing to do with "NOW" feminism, socialism, etc. It has to do with men fathering children and not marrying the women, or divorcing them. Look at all the Republican leadership who mouth off about "family values" but who cannot bother to be faithful to their wives, or who trade them in for a newer model, or who just don't bother to stick around to raise the kids. Personal responsibility is a great theme to conservatives, they need to live out the mantra in their own lives.
This is a PARENTLESS generation being Corporate America and the Republicans have driven down wages of workers for a decade or more so that both parents HAVE to work and in many cases two jobs just to pay for what the need. That means someone other than the parents are raising the children of today. You Republicans are a bunch of hypocrits.....you want to lower wages then complain about parents not raising their children because they are required to be away most of the time working to provide.
Isn't that what N.O.W. wanted. Fatherless children who are wards of the state, not raised by either parent, but by a soviet run beauracracy. Trouble is, they're so devout to their ideology they'll never see or admit to why it's failing.
Forget your tirade over N.O.W. The issue is GUTLESS MEN who abdicate responsibility, marriage, fatherhood...how chauvanistic can you be, what kind of man are you? You are hopeless and helpless...and you aren't worth anyone's attempt to bring reason and sensibility into any conversation with you. Thankfully, I've had enough of your stupidity.
This is hogwash...men find it so easy to run away from responsibilities of family life, leaving the wife/mother to try to fend for herself. Men are the cause of one-parent (mother) homes, the need for various types of assistance, and children who are deprived of a good role model, a provider, a constant positive influence only a father can provide. The only people who deny these facts are men who will stand up for their own, even if they are dead wrong. Don't blame gov't., blame gutless men.
Hey Garth- don't you think the better question is: Why do we have an epidemic of men abandoning their families?
