Dove World Outreach Center pastor Terry Jones on Saturday burned copies of the Quran and an image depicting Muhammad in front of his church to protest the imprisonment in Iran of a Christian clergyman.

The Koran is what radical Islams follow and allows actions that are against the Commandments and our social laws (e.g., killing Amerians, burning/disfiguring wives, killing self for higher purposes, etc.) The preacher has his right to free and symbolic speech. Muslims burn our flag and kill our Christians and burn Bibles. Why can't we exercise free speech against the Koran? Muslims are exploiting our civil liberties to slowly destroy them. Anyone not speaking against the Koran is for it.

In response to Rattataoey I simply try to live a Christian life and go by the bible teachings.

His act served no purpose and makes true Christians to take the blame. This was done only to get personal attention and more money out of his foolish followers. If he truly preached the gospel and lived by the bible and its teachings he would keep his personal feelings to his self.

midann - do you know what the gospel actually is? I doubt it very much. If you do, reply to this post with an explanation. Actually, a huge number of pulpit ministers (Pretenders) do not know what the actual gospel is. So here is my challenge! TELL ME WHAT THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ACTUALLY IS PLEASE?

Rattatooey, Great post! I totally agree. Great scripture passage, too.

rollinson, What you propose is in direct conflict with the first amendment of our Constitution, not to mention a little xenophobic.

What a moron! This stupid act will only bring about negative responses and accomplishes nothing. This person is seeking PERSONAL recognition, and without doubt is acting against Christian Principles.
LK 6:22 ..."Do good to those that hate you"... Many other passages reflect the same sentiment. This is an inflammatory act that is intended to enrage those who are holding someone prisoner. No doubt the prisoner will be subject to some form of retaliation. WHAT WILL THAT HELP JONES? YOU MORON.

Every self-professing muslim must be considered at the very least a seditionist and/or a traitor since the worship of muhammed and islam demands that they overthrow our Constitutional govt and install sharia law; and the muslim-marxist in the office of the presidency is succeeding way too well already!!!

your comment reflects ignorance roll

Idiot. What's the point? In our eyes, his act is purposeless. In their eyes, he has only given more justification to anything they were going to do anyway.
