Texas legislator lobbys for open carry

Texarkana-area Rep. George Lavender is proposing to a bill to allow licensees to carry holstered firearms, where anyone can see them.

"Open carry" advocates say, it would only further deter criminals from threatening someone's life and property.

East Texans talk-back on the idea with our news partner: KTBB and host Garth Maier.

Stats show that crime decreases if you do.

One town on the East Coast changed their laws to ALL citizens had to be armed.
Crime drop to zero.
Hmmmmm

Before ANY state passes any open carry laws, the NRA has to change THEIR RULES about open carry at their own gun shows/events.

The NRA refuses to allow loaded weapons at their shows/sales/conventions, where gun experts and experienced gun afficiados gather. Why? If guns aren't safe in the hands of licensed experts, why then in our schools or work places?

What is good for the goose should be good for the gander....unless the goose is not being truthful.
