House votes to end NPR funding

Tyler — The republican-controlled house votes to stop funding to NPR.
The bill prohibits local public radio stations from using federal funds to pay NPR dues and buy its programs.
Republican supporters say taxpayer dollars should not be funding an organization that can stand on its own feet.
