Is the media over reacting?

The first topic discussed in last night's GOP presidential debate centered around Newt Ginigrich's infidelity with his second wife, Marianne.

Newt Gingirch says the allegations made by his x-wife, claiming he asked for an "open marriage" are simply not true, and that it was "despicable" that that was the first question asked during the debate, just three days before the South Carolina primary.

Kaci visits with Garth Maier at KTBB to ask East Texans, "Do you agree with the news media addressing Newt Gingrich’s marital infidelity?"

Don't you mean "marriages" as in plural? Newtie's on his third. Anyone remember what the media put Clinton through? Remember that $60 million investigation headed by Ken Starr? Newtie led the impeachment campaign, until his own shenigans came to light and he was forced to resign. And pay $300,000 in fees over ethics violations forced by his own party. Now he's using the children from his first wife to discredit what his second wife is saying about his third wife. Newt does not get a pass.

I don't agree with infidelity, but none of us were in that marriage and things happen. I don't think the media should have asked that question unless they were going to ask personal, harmful questions of every candidate, including Obama. Let's not forget - Gingrich ruined his marriage, Obama is ruining the United States. I'll take Gingrich every time.
