Obama the most polarizing president in U.S. history

Tyler — President Obama has been in office for three years and each year in office; Gallup polls tracked historic highs in political polarization.

Analysts believe all signs point to the country, hardening along more and more strict partisan lines.

He may not be the most polarizing President we've had, but except for maybe Clinton, he's the only one that has made an effort to do so.

I seriously doubt it. I think the honor would go to Ulysses S. Grant or Andrew Johnson. However, they may have been hated by everyone. Kennedy was also hated by a lot of folks, also. People forget that.
