Debate at a peak on more gun control: should the country take a time out?

The president will announce his plan today for more gun control. Gun control topics abound on national media. The NRA's membership is exploding in new members. Gun sales are up and manufacturers are having a hard time keeping up with orders.

Should the country take a collective "breath" before anymore legislation on the second amendment? East Texans talk-back to our news partner: KTBB and host Garth Maier.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
#1. the 2nd amendment does not state what kind of Arms you are allowed to keep.
#2. A well regulated Militia means there will be regulation imposed on the melitia (people) by the governing authority of the Malitia which means the government. The congress & President has the power afforded it by the Constitution to regulate the ARMS.

With executive orders signed by President Obama today, I would be more surprised if radical gun worshipers did not take up arms and start blasting away at anyone who tries to talk to them about the foolishness of civilians having ARs/mega-round clips...deaf smith, charles, and others have actually posted the word "revolt" or one that suggests the same sentiment as an option if and when the president did what he did today...everyone needs to have a healthy fear of these radical gun owners!
