Recent poll numbers the topic of today's Talkback

A March poll by Public Religion Institute showed that 61 percent of white evangelical Protestants contend religious liberty is under attack.

And the roiling debate over the sanctioning of same-sex marriages has raised questions in some traditions about whether their religious liberties are being challenged.

Claudie, why don't you lead the charge against all who practice any religion other than your brand of Christianity? Deport all who don't look like you, talk like you, belong to the same rigid church and political party you do, all who aren't clones of you, all who don't fit your socio-economic status, anyone who has an independent thought, the poor, the under-educated, the sick and old. I am a follower of a loving God and certainly don't want any part of what you call your Christianity!

snydergal, I don't follow.
I thought claudie comment said nothing about rigity nor exclusivity nor political party.

How do you read ALL of that there??

I am an independant

God is Spirit.
Maybe you're seeing "religion' in her comment???
Religion is NOT God...it is a man made enitity..
.but not GOD

The day this country allowed Madalyn Murry O'hare (mispelled) to tell us what we can and can not do as Christians, was the day we should have stood up and stopped this country from trying to take away our rights in Jesus Christ. He gave His life for us and we should be willing to stand up and be counted for Him. Now we have same-sex marriages being approved in at least five states, and the president trying to make us pay for condoms and the pill that kills more babies. When will we learn?

religious liberty is not under attack, just Christain liberty.

If we were muslim we are not under attack

You can say anything or object to anything christian w/o a qualm.

we are complaisancey incorporated.

Just say "B-a-a-a-a".
