Marines in Afghanistan taped urinating on taliban fighter's corpse

Some in the Obama administration calling for disciplinary action against marines taped urinating on the corpse of a taliban fighter.

Governor Perry says too much is being made of this. Others want action against the marines, some even demanding criminal action.

Urinating on anyone is not okay, HOWEVER, there are probably lots of more terrible things that go on in war than that, and most of it is done to OUR SOLDIERS. No, it was not right, but I will not cast stones on our soldiers who are over there fighting for us. They see and do things that they would never have done if they had not been fighting for our freedom and they must live forever with what happens to them.

The world, especially the Arab world, will demand it. Our military is held to a higher standard than most. They should face at least a dishonorable discharge.

Absolutely - this incident brings disgrace to the armed forces and to America. I hope they are all Court Marshalled. Killing the enemy is one thing, desecrating the dead says more about the soldiers than the enemy.

I Do Not think thet need to be Punished Because look at all the rad side bombings that they did and All our troops have been killed .....
Theyy needed a shower anyway a bunch of Damn Turban Heads ...

OMGOSH! get over it! THEY are serving over there. If whoever it is who wants to punish them then THEY need to go over there and serve. SHAME ON YOU FOR WANTING TO PUNISH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

What a good observation Ms. Ammoral. Americans are honorable. Would you like the enemy to urinate on our military killed in combat? Well after this outrageous incident, you can almost bet on that happening. Throughout the ages, desecration of the deceased has always been condemned both from a religious as well as moral point of view. Most Marines and comat soldiers would condemn this action. Remember the outrage felt by Americans when the Black Hawk went down in Somalia?SHAME ON YOU Ms. Ammoral.

If by punishment, you mean awarding them a service medal; then yes. If that's not your meaning, then NO!!
