Two new apps out to video law enforcement
Tyler — Citizens can hold police accountable in the palms of their hands with "Police Tape," a smartphone application from the ACLU of New Jersey that allows people to securely and discreetly record and store interactions with police, as well as provide legal information about citizens' rights when interacting with the police.
It's just one of two new apps out allowing users to "watch the watchers." East Texans talk-back on the apps with our news partner: KTBB and host Garth Maier.

OH YES! How does one get these Apps?
In a place where thuggery is synonomous with the police - we need these tools.
You should DEFINITELY record ALL interactions with the police!
The behavior of police in this area is such that you would be a fool not to record interactions with them if able. I was in a car that was stopped and when I asked why I was told the lie that "the car doesn't show up in the computer." The real reason was clearly that they didn't like seeing a white person with a non-white person especially when they were apparently a couple. They eventually had to admit that this wasn't true but made no apology for their racism which is apparently the norm.
