Is this the solution to getting economy back on track? It's part of president's new jobs bill.

The President wants america's wealthy to give more in the form of taxes. It's part of his 447 billion dollar jobs bill.

East Texans talk-back on the idea of taxing the wealthy more and whether it will help the economy.

They bend the ear of Garth Maier with our news partner: KTBB.

Problem is these idiots armed with their Keynesian economic theory, which seems very similar to socialism, thinks taxation creates positive economic activity. They can't (or won't) see that it slows economic activity. But the old guard Republicans, who are liberals dressed in conservative clothing, aren't offering any real solutions with their just cut taxes mantra.

How can you create jobs by taking money away from the ones who create the jobs in the first place? Ask Jimmy Carter what happened to the East Texas Oilfield with his "creative" taxation!

It's not fair. It's not moral. Stealing is wrong. It's wrong for me to steal. It's wrong for you to steal. It's wrong for government to steal, and I can't morally give it permission to steal from you in the form of taxes just because you have more than I do. Why is that so hard to understand?

The average CEO's salary when compared to an employee is 350:1 approx...Yes! tax the rich!

Taxing the rich is not the answer, closing loop holes such as GE did and payed no taxes, a small Federal Sales Tax should be part of the solution, and then fair/flat type overall. Many are operating on CASH, such as the illegals and the only tax they pay is sales tax.
