It's not a new idea, but one that's starting to get the push it needs to get people talking.

Texas state senator, Kevin Eltife is proposing term limits in state congress.

KTBB's Garth Maier asks East Texans what they think.

We do have term limits and it is called the voters but in Texas the voters are too ignorant to limit the terms of the crooked Texas Republicans/T-Party elected officials. In Texas, just as our crooked Governor has said many times, " I'm not worried about losing an election because Texans vote Republican no matter what". In other words Texans are too stupid to vote for a person, they vote for a party.

It always sounds good when they want votes for themselves but do not want to be included in the term limit themselves.Rep.Berman can tell you about this.Once they are elected they want to stay forever. If you could have a vote by the people it would pass by a large vote.

I think there should be a two term limit, one in office... and one in prison.

Would this rule apply to Boener? If so, I am absolutely 100% for it.

Republicans are all for term limits as long as they only apply to Democrats.

Listen to the great thunder of silence by Republicans to this proposal, since they have such a heavy majority in both Texas houses.
