Tyler — Another rape case was recently cleared in Tarrant county after DNA testing proved the man's innocence.
He already had spent 20 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit. East Texnas talk-back to our news partner: KTBB and host Garth Maier on who should be penalized for prosecuting these innocent people.

You can't bring charges against the jury that convicted them. How will you ever get anyone to serve on a jury again?
The innocent man should be fairly compensated (If that is possible after losing 20 yrs of his life). Those who found him guilty should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I think the following principle is ignored on many ocassions...."Within a reasonable doubt". With the widespread criminal activity that occurs within the ranks of law enforcemnt, there should be further safeguards to protect the innocent. That is why I am so pleased that JB SMITH has removed himself from the system.
