Some of the top bucks taken across East Texas last season will be on display

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; folks with Texas Big Game Awards Program are throwing a party and everyone is invited to attend.

The San Antonio-based outfit is planning a series of celebrations in coming months to pay tribute to some of the top scoring big game animals taken across Texas during the 2011-12 hunting seasons for whitetail deer, mule deer and pronghorn antelope.
