AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Republican Gov. Rick Perry gets a pounding the podium at tea party rallies, and he rails against Washington.  But while tea party activists say Perry is preferable to Democrat Bill White, they are not too focused on his race. Many are concentrating on down-ballot contests.

After 10 years as governor, Perry is no outsider. Some tea partiers say they don't like the toll road network he pushed or his order to have girls vaccinated against the HPV virus.  Tea party activist Don Zimmerman says tea party support for Perry isn't real strong, but he says opposition to White is intense.

Perry dismisses any criticism as differences within a family. He says he is supportive of tea partiers and that his views come closer to theirs than his opponents' do.

Another last minute desperate attempt by the Pravda Daily Press to change what is certain to be the end of socialist democrats in America.. When you see the following link you will realize that AP is a propaganda outlet for the liberal left.

So nice to have the truth be heard instead of Liberal media and Don.

I don't know which Tea Party he is affiliated with, but I am a Tea Party member and will be voting for Rick Perry. I have viewed Tea Party as being the instrument in which to pull the Republican party back to the right of the center where they should have been all along. They have strayed too far left and are waking up to that fact currently. The Democrat party is not the party that will align with Tea Party principles. Bill White will align himself with the current administration.

I can't say which Tea Party Don is affiliated with, but I am in Tea Party and will be voting for Perry. From what I see of White, he's in lock-step with the present administration in D.C. and that is unacceptable. I see Tea Party's job to bring the Republican party back to the right of the center, where they should have been all along. They have strayed too far left and they are waking up to that fact because of Tea Party.

So corruption and massive spending of tax payer money for personal gain are the values of the Tea Party that you belong to?
You stae that Bill White will align himself with the current administration.Do you have any Factual Proof to back your statement up or is it just an uneducated opinion?
I do not vote for any party I vote for the candidats based on their Factual records.
One other question, what in the world does DC have to do with Texas and the governors race?

Our local Tea Party will be voting against all incumbents including Rick Perry as was the original intent of the Tea Party to begin with.
The Tea Party in other areas that will stray from the original intent of the Tea Party are no better than the corrupt Democrats or the corrupt Republican full time career politicians.

Don's daily drivel against Perry now instructs those who share Tea Party beliefs how to vote. To quote MadMax; "A day without Don's rants against Perry is like a day without diarrhea".
