New Software Threatens Privacy of Cell Phone Users

September 18, 2009 - 9:09am

UNDATED—Cell phones are under attack by a flood of covert, internet software designed to use cell phones against their users by invading their privacy.

Hackers are working through relatively inexpensive programs that can be ordered online and allow anyone to gain access to the private conversations and messages of cell phone users. Such hijacking websites promise the user easy access to track a cheating spouse or anyone else. Experts say nearly all of today's cell phone spyware can be traced to China or Russia.

As NBC's Eric Mansfield reports it's easier than you may realize for someone to hack into your cell phone.

Finally those times when mobile phones will be hacked as computer are had come. I had never believed in the fact that someday my mobile phone will be hacked. But now I see that it is the reality and we must be more careful while browsing in the internet. Thanks for this article, I will be definitely keeping it in my mind. Oh and I will be definitely waiting for other nice articles to appear in the nearest future.

Sincerely,

Bernard trunton from software development
