Teen shot during break-in on campus

Pasadena, TX — A 14-year-old suspected of burglarizing a trailer on a campus in the Pasadena Independent School District was wounded by a school district police officer early Tuesday morning, officials said.
The shooting happened about 12:45 a.m. at the Miller Intermediate School on Fairmont Parkway Near Foxmeadow, according to Pasadena ISD Superintendent Kirk Lewis.
Lewis said the teen, who is an 8th-grader at the school, was wounded in the upper chest and rushed to a nearby hospital. He was in critical condition.
