Longview Police were called to the scene of a wreck early Sunday afternoon.

According to Longview Police Public Information Officer, Kristie Brian, Colton Macdonald, 17, was driving his car 70 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone on H.G. Moseley Parkway at 1:30 p.m. The teen then drove around a corner and lost control of his vehicle, causing him to hit a parked truck and flip four times. Good Samaritans held the car on its side until the "jaws of life" could be brought in to cut Macdonald from the car.

Slow down people!! Not saying this is what happened here so don't freak out. Maybe this will save someone from going through this.. if that bothers you then you have the problem! Parents.. your kids are watching you drive. If you go 5, 10 miles or so over the speed limit, they see that, and think it's okay to go over the speed limit! Teach your kids not to drive fast by setting an example. Don't know if that happened here but doesn't hurt to remind parents this.. !
