When Cain turned ten years old, he asked his mother Toni for two things. A paintball birthday party and food to feed the homeless. Cain was inspired to help feed East Texans after passing a homeless man on the street.

"When i saw the man on crutches he actually looked hungry, so we gave him money, and then i told my mom i wanted food for the hungry instead of presents, and I wanted a paint ball party too," said Cain Miller.

Cain's mother says she is extremely proud of her son, who is learning to help others at such a young age.

"As a mother i'm extremely proud because so many times we think they're not even listening when i'm talking and apparently he is hearing everything that we're teaching him," Toni Miller said.

Cain received canned goods and gift cards. He wanted to help locally in Tyler. He plans to donate his gifts to St. Vincent DePaul, which is affiliated with the East Texas Food Bank.

"A few have donated gift cards so Cain can actually go out and shop for the food himself and then donate the food," said Toni Miller.

All of Cains friends were excited to spend the day paintballing, and also help with the cause.

"All these boys inspire each other every day, they're really a special group of boys and they totally support each other and are wonderful," Toni added.
