YEONPYEONG ISLAND, South Korea (AP) - Tensions remain high on
the Korean peninsula. South Korea's president has ordered more
troops to a front-line island and dumped his defense minister as
the country grapples with lapses in its response to a North Korean
artillery strike that killed four people on Tuesday.
The U.S. and South Korea are going ahead with joint military exercises beginning
on Sunday.
