AUSTIN — Of the many bills dealing with DWI's this session, only one has passed.

Today, KETK spoke with East Texan Patti Foster who was the victim of a tragic car accident on highway 69 in 2002.

An intoxicated truck driver slammed into the vehicle Foster was riding in, killing a teenage girl and placing Foster in a coma for 6 weeks.

We asked Foster as well as Mothers Against Drunk Driving what they thought of the recent Texas DWI legislation.
