Tyler, Texas — Texas cuts off funding to Planned Parenthood's family programs for some women, a state judge ruled Monday.
Judge Gary Harger said that Texas will eliminate funding to doctors and clinics if they advocate for abortion rights.
Planned Parenthood has filed a lawsuit against the judges ruling but the Judge decided that the ban will go into effect for now.

Mammograms, blood tests, cancer screening, well-woman exams, exams for men with possible breast cancer (yea, guys...it does happen)...these are some of the services PP provide to low-income and under-insured Texans...any and all terrible outcomes from people not being able to access healthcare through PP falls at the feet of people like chuck and katie...may you two, and people who think like you do, grow consciences and lay awake at night, thinking of the condemnation you put on others.
Good riddance to this group and the funding of abortions. God will never view abortion as a "woman's right to choose." It was wrong under Herod and it is wrong under Obama.
Katie, just hope you've never taken even one birth control pill in your life, or used any other means other than abstinence to prevent a pregnancy...otherwise, you've condemned yourself to the wrath of God, since birth control of any kind, in your book, is murder...since these pills or whatever you've used do, in effect, prevent what you consider God's will for you to have as many babies as possible as a tribute to your belief in God, you, yourself, may have "murdered" a potential little baby.
Where are low-income women supposed to go for their health care? Are they supposed to go to their local evangelical pastors for their appointments? Seems like thats the point of this law.
