Texas school unites to fight against bullying

A teenage girl in Texas has the last laugh.

Earlier this week Shea Shawan received a number of threatening text messages.

But the community is standing by Shea and sending a message...that bullying is not to be tolerated.

Shea Shawan had never wanted the attention, a quiet 17-year-old posing for pictures.

Tonight's the big game. All the sounds of high school football, the sights much the same: two team colors and then this...

"Why green? Because it's loud and obnoxious," said Kerri Riddell.

It's meant to give Shea a voice.

"I want to shout it from the rooftop, 'I'm with Shea, I'm with Shea,'" said Riddell.

Friday night many were with Shea, this player was the victim of school bulling. Absolutely hurtful text messages, like 'no one wants you.'

But her bullies were wrong.

"We can rise above so you can stand up, don't stand by," said Yolanda Miles.

This week Plano Police arrested a student and charged them with harassment.

The 'I am with Shea' has turned into a movement to fight bullying at school.

"I didn't know it was going to be so big." said Riddell.

But it has. Mother and daughter and a chance to fight.

So it might not be the only color but it is the loudest.
