TYLER - One local private hospital is waiting for a final decision from a local district judge on whether or not they can continue with plans to expand. Texas Spine and Joint Hospital filed one of the first lawsuits against "obamacare" back in June, now they hope after the recent ruling from a Florida judge that the new Health Care law is unconstitutional, this will give them leverage in their fight. The hospital was grandfathered in, but had already begun a multi-million dollar expansion project in Tyler, when the bill became law and the provisions stated no existing private hospitals owned by doctors could expand.
