The Pine Tree ISD School Board held a Special Meeting, Monday, November 4, concerning the evaluation for Superintendent, Dr. T.J. Farler.

The meeting was originally scheduled for October, but had to be pushed back due to multiple meetings being called regarding former Athletic Director and head football coach, Derek Fitzhenry.

The board entered into executive session at 6:00 p.m., and returned to discuss the public agenda at 7:28 p.m.

The board then moved to approve the rental agreement to use the new athletic complex to host high school football playoff games.

The items discussed in Farler's private evaluation were not disclosed. Board president, Charley Peck thanked Farler for her hard work and dedication to the school district toward the end of the public portion of the meeting.

Right before the meeting ended, board member Terrie Dunn suggested the board add the topic of "reorganization" to the November 11 agenda.

Reorganization is the opportunity to discuss the positions officers hold on the board.

KETK will be at the meeting next Monday to follow up on whatever details emerge.
