The search comes to a tragic end for Smith Co. 2-year-old
Winona, Tx — It's been an emotional day for Jacob Kimbley's family and the East Texas community.
The search for the 2-year-old toddler comes to a tragic end. It was a long and tough search for the little boy.
Crews searched close to 12 hours and helicopters circled a 2-mile radius of the toddler's home.
It was early this morning (Wednesday) about 1:15 a.m. when the body was discovered in a septic tank near the wooden area.
According to Justice of the Peace, Judge Mitch Shamburger says the toddler's body has been taken to Dallas, and results should be in by the end of the week.
New information was released at 5 p.m. confirming that Child Protective Services (CPS) removed 5 children from the home and will be put in foster care.
