Things to remember on election day; polling locations

Tyler, Texas — Things to remember on election day:
- Leave you cell phones in the car or turned off
- Please have proper identification : Photo ID is not required but you must have a utility bill, or a badge with your name and address on it or your voter registration card. (To see a full list of proper forms of ID for voting day please visit: http://www.votetexas.gov/
- Remember poll workers are only allowed to answer certain questions, they are not allowed to explain the wording on the ballot but they are allowed to read you, verbatim, what the ballot says.
- If you are wondering where your assigned precinct is, you are encouraged to visit your county website—if you live in Smith County you can check out their new interacting polling location maps on their website or right on your smart phone. More information here: http://smith-county.com/
