Three months ago the Yum-Yum restaurant in downtown Jacksonville burned to the ground.

Even other businesses around it were severely damaged.

One of those, was the Love's Nest beauty and cosmetic store, but on Tuesday, they reopened their doors, thanks to hard work, and help from friends and customers.

But the family has been known in the area fro their giving heart.

While they were still recovering from the fire, they donated nearly 100 teddy bears to children who were in Moore, Oklahoma after the devastating tornadoes.

But they are still taking in teddy bears, as well as crayons, colored pencil, and coloring books for sick children at St. Jude's Hospital.

If you would like to donate, you can drop off your items at Love's Nest on 106 East Rusk in Jacksonville, or give Susie Ripkowski a call at (903) 780-1402.

You have until Thursday to donate, because they will be hauling off the items on Friday morning.
