Man Exposes Himself At Children's Park
March 26, 2009 - 5:17pm
EAST TEXAS - Cops say, 42-year-old Brian Scott Johnson of Pollok was cuffed for exposing himself near children at a Lufkin Park on Monday.
This isn't the first time Johnson exposed himself.
Cops say, the same thing happened near Lufkin Middle School back in December.
Johnson is charged with Indecency with a child.
That's a third degree felony.
50-year-old Michael Lynn Riley finds out his execution date on Friday.
Riley confessed to stabbing a woman to death and then stealing money from her back in 1986.
He was convicted of capital murder and was supposed to die three years ago.
But, that execution was stopped, because his mental state was in question.
Tests proved- he was fine.
Deliberations continued Thursday, in the sentencing trial of 22-year-old Dexter Lee Sparkman.
Cops say, Sparkman admitted he helped rob two Longview businesses in 2007.
He faces up to life in prison.
His accomplice, Gerald DeWayne Butler, is already serving two life sentences behind bars.
Cops say, both men shot an employee while robbing a restaurant.
Another man was also involved.
And finally, the murder trial of David McBride began Thursday morning.
Attorneys say, McBride shot and killed George "Rusty" Hill in self-defense back in 2007.
The defense claims hill was shot eight times in the back, while he was trying to get away.
Both sides claim the two men didn't get along.
