Tyler Junior College beat Coastal Bend Tuesday night in the first round of the Regional Tournament at UT Tyler.

TJC won, 66-53.

Ta'Jon Welcome led Tyler with 16 points.

Dale Jones added 15.

DeAndre Harris had 13.

TJC will play again Thursday night at 8:00 o'clock against San Jacinto.
