TJC student will run 100 miles for a cause

March 29, 2009 - 10:13pm

TYLER-One Tyler Junior College student on April 18th will attempt the unthinkable in order to help a cause.

Jared Fetterolf, 20, is planning on running 100 miles or 5 times around the Tyler Loop 323 in 24 hours. And all the money raised will go toward Muscular Dystrophy. He will begin running at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and continue running all day long.

Fetterolf is asking East Texans to pitch in and donate money in his effort.

"I'm going to do it for muscular distrophy because it's a shame that they probably want to run but they can't so I'm going to do it for them," Fetterolf said.

If you would like to donate money you can mail a check to the MDA headquarters:
