UNDATED — Toyota announced Tuesday it is planning to recall 3-point-eight million vehicles to address problems with removable floor mats.

The company says the floor mat on certain vehicles could interfere with the accelerator and cause a crash.

Toyota says a letter could come in the mail about the recall as early as next week.

Owners should take out the floor mats on the driver's side and not replace them.

The recall will affect Toyota Camry, model years 2007-2010; Toyota Avalon, model years 2005-2010; Toyota Prius, model years 2005-2010; Toyota Tacoma, model years 2007-2010; Toyota Tundra, model years 2007-2010; Lexus ES350, model years 2006-2010; Lexus IS250 and IS350, model years 2006-2010.
