TYLER - The city of Tyler and the Texas Department of Transportation are working together on a new traffic signal upgrade project that will begin in March.

The project will focus on several intersections in Tyler that have not yet been synchronized.

Intersections such as Rice Road and Old Jacksonville Highway and the Loop will get new technology, cameras and equipment.

The project will be an overhaul of road milling the pavement and replacing the signals which are about fifteen years old.
