A routine traffic stop led to the arrest and cavity search of a Kilgore woman on Sunday.

According to the Kilgore Police Department, Cassie Faye Thompson, 21, of Kilgore was pulled over and found to have two outstanding traffic warrants.

She was arrested and taken to the Kilgore Municipal Jail.

While being booked in, Thompson made several nervous movements, which led officers to believe she was concealing something in her underwear.

She was taken to a local emergency room, where a small baggie of Methamphetamine was removed from her body cavity.

She was given additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Both charges are felonies.
