Two Texas men are now behind bars after a traffic stop leads to the seizure of more than 60 pounds of marijuana.

On Saturday morning, a Louisiana State Trooper stopped a truck for a traffic violation on I-20 eastbound near mile marker 59 just west of Arcadia in Bienville Parish.

This stop led to the discovery of marijuana in the vehicle.

The driver, Corey Samuel, 30, of Houston, Texas gave officers consent to search the vehicle.

During the search, Troopers found 62 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $93,000.

Samuel was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

The passenger in the truck, Kerry Taylor, 42, of Houston, Texas, was also arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Samuel and Taylor were booked into the Bienville Parish Jail, if convicted, each man faces up to 30 years in prison and $150,000 in fines.

In the world of "If" there are big Ifs', and little Ifs'. If my daughter could throw a pass into the in-zone from the fifty yard line is a big "If"; if these two are convicted in Bienville Parish is a little "If". To understand the world of "Is", consult Bill Clinton.
