Henderson, Texas (KETK) —
A fund has been set up for an East Texas high school football player who was killed in a car accident Friday afternoon.
West Rusk Sophomore Adarian Parker passed away after a one-vehicle wreck on County Road 323 just after leaving football practice. CR 323 is just outside of New London.
Parker's teammate, London Martin, was also in the car with him, but was treated and released Friday at a Henderson hospital.
A tragedy fund has been set up at Citizen's National Bank in Henderson and branches in surrounding areas. The fund is to help Parker's family with expenses toward the young man's funeral and burial services.
parker would have been a starter on the Raiders' offensive line this season and Coach Frazier says he's gotten many kind phone calls, and appreciates the support during this tough time.
Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of this beautiful life.
