Gregg County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brown, Lorenzo Daniel Chester, 23, of Tyler, and Reco Lamont Chester, 28, of Tyler, on Jan. 15, 2013.
“I was in my bedroom doing my Bible study when I heard banging on the front door and the doorbell ringing,” Johnson testified Tuesday in the 188th District Court. “This was at 10 a.m. that morning because I remember looking at the clock. When I heard my back door get kicked in, I went to the hall, and there were three men there. One had a gun pointed at me and he said, ‘I’m going to kill you.’ ”
