Trinity Mother Frances responds to firing 80 employees

Tyler Tx (KETK) — Trinity Mother Frances eliminated approximately 80 positions on Tuesday.
"Trinity Mother Frances has a distinguished 75 year history. As we plan for our future service to the greater East Texas community, we will continue to place our emphasis on ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and providing the best and most compassionate patient care,” said Lindsey Bradley, President & CEO. "As the health care sector changes, so must we change to address the needs of today and tomorrow.”
“Our strategy is not just about cost-reduction; it is about positioning Trinity Mother Frances to grow in the ever changing health care market," Bradley said. "I believe this is the best way for us to continue our commitment to serving the health care needs of people of East Texas."
“It is not lost on anyone inside Trinity Mother Frances that we are impacting the lives of our staff,” Darin Szilagyi said in the press release”

You can bet that the high paid Executive don't feel any pain in the elimination of 80 jobs because not a one of their jobs is EVER on the line! I feel so bad for those 80 people and their families. This is a horrible time to be out of a job! Shame on you Trinity Mother Francis for putting the almighty dollar before a person!!!
Look for other employers with large employee pool to follow suit. Remember what Ron Paul told us ? The laws written in congress do exactly the opposite of what their title claims. "Affordable healthcare act"? Great, I lose my job but the government gives me healthcare...didn't we call that medic-aid?
Another job creating benefit of Obamacare?
But I bet those executives will take home a big, fat raise on top of their already outrageous salaries.
What a ridiculous and stupid thing to say. Even with Obama's socialist healthcare you find a class warfare spin. Ya think Mother's would be cutting staff right now if Obama hadn't got his pro-insurance, anti-patient healthcare plan? Ask your doctor if you can't understand reality from media hype about your presidents plan.
