TV show aims to save struggling Kilgore restaurant
Kilgore — KILGORE — A film crew from Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” — a show known for turning around struggling eateries — descended this week on downtown Kilgore to rescue Nanny Goats Cafe.
Some area business owners say the show will benefit their establishments, too, despite the inconvenience it has caused for downtown visitors and potential customers.
Cathy Hartley said filming, which neither the restaurant nor the network is willing to discuss, has slowed foot traffic in her shop, the Crystal Spur Boutique.
