2 arrested after armed robbery in Tyler, 1 at large

Police arrest two and are searching for a third after a robbery in Tyler.

Officers tell KETK, it happened around 4:40 a.m., at the Food Fast convenience store at the corner of E. Front Street and Palmer Street.

Two men held up the store clerk at gunpoint. When officers arrived, three men tried to leave in a car, only to run into a nearby fence. A foot chase followed, which ended with two of the bandits being arrested.

The suspects who were taken into custody have been identified as Parker Reed Terry, 19, of Tyler, and Marquis Willoughby, 23, of Dallas.

Authorities are still looking for the third person involved.

No one was injured during the robbery nor in the apprehension of the two suspects. A Major Crimes Detective was called to the scene to start the investigation.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
