A wreck between a Frito-Lay truck and a passenger vehicle sent both drivers to a Tyler hospital, according to DPS.

The wreck happened during the 1:00 pm hour at the intersection of FM 346 and the entrance to the Shady Brook community.

A woman was pulling out from the entrance when her car went into oncoming traffic and ran head-on into a Frito-Lay truck.

Both drivers were conscious at the scene and were taken to the hospital by EMS.
