A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.

A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl.

Under Texas state law, deadly force is authorized and indeed, justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault and coupled with the fact that the harrowing 911 calls made by the father back claims he even tried to save the pedophile's life led to the grand jury's decision.

Lavaca County sheriff's deputies said that the father, whose name has not been released to protect the little girl's identity, sent her and her brother to feed the family's chickens.

The boy rushed back to tell his dad that someone had grabbed his sister and taken her to a small secluded shack and the father rushed towards his daughter's screams and arrived to find them both with their underwear off.

Thank God for the Grand Jury system in Texas. It really does work sometimes, and this is a good example. I totally agree with the decision.

That's what I call justice. He didn't leave her to go and call the police he didn't have a choice. I was brought up in a law enforcement family. I was hurt as a young girl about the same age. I remember my dad telling me that if anyone tried to hurt me and he explained to let him know. I did and my dad took off to find him and that's all I have to say.

Don't believe he was wrong at all, I think most people would have done the same.

Sorry, what he did was absolutely NOT wrong! What was he supposed to do, stand by and say "stop that while I call the police"?

No Deaf you are totaly wrong. IT IS NOT WRONG IN WHAT HE (the Father) DID, LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN DEAF, HE (the Father)IS NOT WRONG IN WHAT HE DID!!!

If that were your child & I was in a position to intervene, I would have done the same thing even for a child that was not mine and I WOULD BE JUSTIFIED....NOT WRONG!!!

I can understand the father's feelings.

Now it is WRONG in what he did. But, I can understand. I would no bill him to.

My prayers for his whole family.
