TX Workforce Commission can't keep up

TEXAS-The rising number of jobless Texans has generated more claims than the Texas Workforce Commission can handle.

The commission has added hundreds of workers to call centers to deal with soaring unemployment claims.

But officials say they still can't answer every call.

The state's unemployment rate jumped to more than 7 percent between April and May.
